Project - Tucson, Arizona

On a 3.7acre lot in Tucson’s NE foothills, design a 5,000 sq. ft. single-family residence, incorporating Universal Design principles with flexible-use spaces, and plenty of storage. Only durable, low maintenance, high quality materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings shall be employed. Colors and textures shall reflect the Southwest‘s natural environment. Architecture and decorative details shall be inspired by Chaco Canyon building features.

Solution

A luxuriously spacious layout and extra wide circulation paths were designed for this timeless, but contemporaneous technology equipped, residence. Five bedrooms, 4 baths, storage rooms, and ample indoor and outdoor living spaces make up this Southwestern desert property. Colors, textures, materials, finishes and fixtures, and furnishings provide for very comfortable and relaxing living.

Design development, permitting, excavation & construction, and installation lasted 25 months.
